My husband taught me this recipe years ago...his mom taught him and she got it from the back of the pasta bag many, many years ago. My only addition is the rosemary. It's a favorite of ours and I can say confidently, I know you'll love it!

1 ham steak, diced (or ¼ lb pancetta or salt pork)
5-6 cloves minced garlic
1 medium onion, diced
¼ t dried rosemary (or 1 t fresh rosemary, minced)
