  • Good pasta pot (my FAVE is from has wholes in the lid which locks onto the pot so you just turn it over to drain the water…no need for a collander to wash!)
  • A large pan about 4 inches deep and 16-20 inches in diameter.
  • 12 inch frying pan
  • good cutting board (with kids it’s nice to have a small and large)
  • spatulas

  • microplane grater
  • spoons
  • mixing bowl
  • good chef’s knife
  • pairing knife
  • colander
  • strainer
  • sauce pan
  • meat thermometer
