- 4 white fish fillets (tilapia, cod, haddock, etc)
- flour for dredging
- ¼ t chili powder
- salt & pepper
- 2-3 T olive oil
- corn tortillas
- thinly shredded fresh cabbage
- For sauce:
- 1 C sour cream
- lime juice to taste
- ¼ t garlic powder
- 2 T finely chopped cilantro
- salt to taste
- Dredge fish in flour seasoned with salt, pepper
- Sprinke with chili powder
- Pan fry in large pan with olive oil until golden on each side (don't move until golden on one side, then flip)
- Heat corn tortillas either directly on flame or in a dry pan (NOT in microwave!)
- Serve fish on platter and allow each person to fill their tortillas
- For sauce, mix all ingredients and serve as garnish along with cabbage
- *other garnishes: fresh cilantro leave, finely diced red onions
