- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large shallot, minced
- 2 T butter
- 2 T olive oil
- 20 large shrimp
- 1 lb linguini
- salt & pepper to taste
- ¼ C parsley, chopped
- Optional: red pepper flakes
- Bring pasta water to boil and cook linguini
- In the meantime, sauté garlic and shallot in butter and oil
- Add shrimp and sauté for a few minutes until mostly pink
- Add wine and simmer to reduce by half
- Add salt & pepper to taste
- Add parsley and toss with pasta
- Optional: If you want a little kick, sauté red pepper flakes with garlic and shallots
