This is a family pleaser every time! Serve with cilantro rice...yum! I like tilapia but you can use any white fish you like!
Ingredients
  • 4 white fish fillets (tilapia, cod, haddock, etc)
  • flour for dredging
  • ¼ t chili powder
  • salt & pepper
  • 2-3 T olive oil
  • corn tortillas
  • thinly shredded fresh cabbage
  • For sauce:
  • 1 C sour cream
  • lime juice to taste
  • ¼ t garlic powder
  • 2 T finely chopped cilantro
  • salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Dredge fish in flour seasoned with salt, pepper
  2. Sprinke with chili powder
  3. Pan fry in large pan with olive oil until golden on each side (don't move until golden on one side, then flip)
  4. Heat corn tortillas either directly on flame or in a dry pan (NOT in microwave!)
  5. Serve fish on platter and allow each person to fill their tortillas
  6. For sauce, mix all ingredients and serve as garnish along with cabbage
  7. *other garnishes: fresh cilantro leave, finely diced red onions
